Baba Mountain, which is among the 100 mountains to be protected by the World Heritage Foundation, has also been declared as a protected area by the Cultural and Natural Heritage Preservation Board.
The name of the valley, which was previously named Gürümsu and opened to tourism in 1987, was updated as “Butterfly Valley” due to the butterfly population in the region.
